Professors have no time, that's why he said to send him draft, now you set that template according to the university.
For example: write university name on the top, than date and this material (in template) change the name, department according to your department.
And in bottom write professor name, designation, phone and email and send it to professor. He will sign it and return back to you.
He will modify it if needed, don't worry.
